    Default 23 Windows 7 Theme & Resource Mods

    This is a .pdf that I found and finally back tracked to this thread:

    Some have been covered already. A lot will not be new to those that have been around OS system modding for awhile. But theres still enough here to give it a once over. The different mods are:

    1. Change the color of your progressbars to light blue
    2. Manually changing the progressbars colors (x86 and x64)
    3. Change your Windows Start button (x86 and x64)
    4a. Blue TaskManager
    4b. Blue Taskmanager (The actual mod)
    5. Add progressbar in the Winamp taskbar icon
    6. Put the details pane at the top in Windows explorer & change it's
    background (x86 and x64)
    7. Change explorer folder icons (x86 and x64)
    8. Change the icons in the Control Panel (x86 and x64)
    9. Change Windows-logo in system properties (x86 and x64)
    10. Change OEM information in system properties (including logo)
    11. Change Logon screen and buttonset (x86 and x64)
    12. Change Media Center background (x86 and x64)
    13. Changing or removing The Legitimate Logo in system properties (works for x86 and x64)
    14. Make Firefox Transparent (works in x86 and x64)
    15. Change the white background in Start Menu (x86 and x64)
    16. Remove the user picture in Start Menu (x86 and x64)
    17. How to center taskbar icons
    18. Sum up of Resource Locations
    19. Remove or modify Favorites, Homegroup and Libraries from Favorites
    Pane in Windows Explorer
    20. Change explorer folderband background and text colors
    21. Make the Start Menu fully transparent
    22. Change background of the menubar (explorer above folderband, and other apps)
    23. Change Toolband background color in Windows Mail

    And most of this info is descriptions for doing these mods manually. Meaning with a resource editor(reshacker, Restorato2007) and maybe a few third party applications. For those who want to learn the real skills.

    I made those on MydigitalLife a while back. Some were allready out there, but I wanted to have them a bit centralizezd and explained, to make things easier for everyone that wanted to use them.
    I ended up discovering some new stuff, so I kept on adding stuff, but eventually stopped support because of too little interest by ppl on MDL.

    Anyway, it's nice to see it spread out on other forums, so more ppl can use the guides for their own purposes. I can only encourage that, so big thanx to the poster.
