If you use the two I posted that are already in .bmp format, you dont need to do anything to them but put them in explorer.
Here, I made two explorer.exes' with them already placed.

use restorator extract\assign\save as explorer.exe\took ownership of windows\remane explorer\copy paste\restart,black screen how do i open my comp to undo,using my sis laptop,thanks

Press F8 right after you see the computers bios information flash. Windows should open up a list of recovery and safemode options.

Don't think , Safe Mode will work. But you could try that wouldn't hurt . He will have to try to do a System Restore. Go back to a day before you changed the explorer.exe file. Thats what happened to me Thanksfully I dual boot on my Laptop.

...not if cant get into his computer at all...He will have to repaire the system files. Either by pressing F8 or using the OEM Install disc.
